I founded Superstars 17 years ago, and over that time I have taken an enormous amount of pleasure from helping raise millions of pounds for good causes through our fundraising services. The company has changed massively In that time period, and I am fortunate to work with some talented and passionate employees. Apart from steering the company In the right direction, I dedicate a lot of my time to sourcing new and exciting products and experiences which gives me an opportunity to express my creative side. I enjoy being on-site and meeting our fantastic customers at some of our key experiences including The Masters and the Monaco Grand Prix!

MARK SWADLING

FUNDRAISING DIRECTOR

Serving as the Fundraising Director for the past eight years, Mark has been a cornerstone of Superstars. His tenure with the company is marked by significant professional growth and a deep commitment to the organisation’s goals.

In his crucial role, Mark focuses on the charity auction segment, where he blends empathy with strategic planning to ensure top-notch service for both clients and customers. His approach is both intuitive and results-oriented, reflecting his ability to understand diverse perspectives.
A key highlight of Mark’s career is his consistent success in increasing annual fundraising totals for charities, a feat that stands as both a professional and personal accomplishment, deeply aligned with Superstars’ mission.

Outside of work, Mark is a huge sports fan, particularly of football, and has a strong appreciation for culinary experiences. His enthusiasm extends to the future of Superstars, where he sees immense untapped potential and is eager to contribute to its growth and success.

I am a reliable finance professional with over 20 years of experience in accounting, both in public practice and industry. I am known for maintaining composure, growing businesses, and innovating solutions. I have a strong analytical ability and a passion for resolving challenges for mutual benefit. I treat each business as my own, focusing on achieving its objectives. I am skilled in communicating effectively across all company levels, from staff to board members and external stakeholders.

My expertise lies in analysing business performance to provide insightful management information for decision-making, ensuring financial and operational matters are managed accurately and efficiently. I thrive in varied roles where I can continuously learn, make an impact, and enjoy my work.
