HOW MUCH DOES AN ONLINE AUCTION COST?
Our online auction service is free of charge, on the basis you include a minimum of 10 items from our product catalogue.
HOW LONG SHOULD I RUN MY ONLINE AUCTION FOR?
From our experience it’s best to run an auction for 7 – 10 days, this allows enough time for the auction to gather momentum but short enough for your database to stay engaged. If you want to have an auction for an extended period of time then we can discuss the best method for this as a few options are available.
HOW DOES AN ONLINE AUCTION WORK?
Online auctions are simple yet very effective. Working together we’ll generate the auction page and create a URL link, this link will then be sent to your entire database and we recommend to put it on social media too. The link will take guests directly to the auction where they easily register and begin bidding on items!
DO BIDDERS GET NOTIFIED IF THEY'RE OUTBID?
Yes! It’s very important to keep the competitive element of an auction alive, this is why we send emails out every time someone has been outbid on an item, giving them a choice to immediately bid again.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO EDIT THE ONLINE AUCTION ONCE IT'S STARTED?
The entire auction page can be edited throughout its duration, even the auction end date. You might be lucky enough to get a few more donations whilst the auction is live, in which case they can be added and you can let your supporters know that there are new exciting items and to take a look!
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE ONLINE AUCTION MYSELF OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE DONE BY YOU?
The system is super easy to use, we’re able to give you a administration rights on your auction page allowing you to make any changes you want. This gives you complete flexibility to check the auction page whenever you have some free time.
HOW IS THE MONEY COLLECTED ONCE THE AUCTION ENDS?
There are a few options to this, if we collect payments on your behalf we would recommend our secure payment link. A congratulations email is sent to the winning bidders immediately once the auction has finished containing this link, this allows the bidder to pay using a debit or credit card. Alternatively, we’re able to invoice. Once the money has been collected we simply transfer it across to you. If you wish payments can be collected by yourself – whichever option works best for you!
